Party responsible for processing

Cantera Digital, S.A. de C.V. ("Cantera Digital", "we"), located at Calle Tabachín No. 130, Nueva Jacarandas neighborhood, 58099, Morelia, Michoacán de Ocampo, Mexico, is responsible for processing the personal data you provide through cantera.digital (including our conversational agent CanterIA) and its subdomains, in compliance with Mexico's Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP), in force since March 21, 2025.

Personal data we collect

  • Identification and contact data: full name, email address, phone number, city and country, name of the organization you represent.
  • Conversation data: the content of your interactions with CanterIA (text and/or voice), including transcripts generated from audio.
  • Navigation and technical data: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, and identifiers collected via cookies and similar technologies (including the Meta Pixel), as detailed in "Use of cookies and tracking technologies" below.

Cantera Digital does not intentionally request sensitive personal data through this site or CanterIA. We ask that you refrain from providing information related to, among other things, your health, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, union membership, or sexual life, or other data considered sensitive under applicable law. Should such information be voluntarily provided, its handling will be subject to applicable legal provisions and Cantera Digital's internal measures.

Purposes of processing

Primary purposes (necessary to handle your request):

  • Contacting you for commercial follow-up on your interest in our services.
  • Preparing quotes and proposals.
  • Assessing your level of interest to assign appropriate follow-up.

Secondary purposes (not necessary for the relationship; you may object):

  • Statistical purposes and improvement of our services and CanterIA.
  • Marketing and advertising purposes, including campaign measurement via the Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram).

Use of cookies and tracking technologies

This site uses first- and third-party cookies, as well as the Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram), to analyze site usage, measure advertising campaign effectiveness, and improve your experience. These technologies may collect information such as your IP address, device, and interaction with the site. You can manage or block these cookies through your browser settings; doing so may affect some site functionality.

Data transfers

To operate the site and CanterIA, Cantera Digital may rely on technology providers that process personal data on Cantera Digital's behalf, including cloud infrastructure, artificial intelligence, voice processing, analytics, automation, and commercial management services. These providers must handle information according to the instructions and purposes determined by Cantera Digital and under applicable contractual and security obligations.

Where Cantera Digital transfers personal data to national or foreign third parties other than those permitted without consent under applicable law, it will inform the data subject of the relevant details and obtain consent where legally required.

ARCO rights

You have the right to Access, Rectify, Cancel, or Object (ARCO rights) to the processing of your personal data, and to revoke your consent. To exercise these rights, send a request to [email protected] including your name, the right you wish to exercise, and a clear description of the data involved. To verify your identity you must attach a copy of valid official ID. We will respond within 20 business days, with an additional 15 business days to make it effective if applicable.

Use of AI providers

Conversations with CanterIA are processed through paid AI provider services; under those terms, your content is not used to train publicly available models.
